traditional seaside resorts of blackpool,
skegness, great yarmouth and scarborough. In
these shows the brothers
often
appear at the traditional pier theatres,
regularly to capacity audiences which is
difficult for any act to achieve these
days.
This sort of appeal again confirms the
chuckles
national popularity.
And there have been some unforgettable
pantomimes, in 1996 they starred in britains
biggest pantomime
mother goose in birmingham and the 2004
production at the manchester opera house
dick
whittington was a box office record. During
the run of the 2006 show in hull they
received a 40th birthday cake
from the
theatre to celebrate their outstanding
career achievements.
2006
also saw the brothers as guests in tvs
celebrity weakest link when they finished a
close
second. It
is no
surprise that 2007 was to be busier than
ever but paul and barry show no signs of
slowing down! In 2008 they
toured
in indiana chuckles and the kingdom of the
mythical sulk
2009 see's
the boys tour again
in "chuckle trek" and ths christmas 2009
they will tour in "a christmas chuckle".
In 2010 the boys will be back on the road
with a new Tour, "An Audience With...The
Chuckle Brothers" In this one off tour
special they will be showing film clips of
some of their favourite routines with
supporting artistes, the Chuckle Brothers
will talk about how it all started for them.
they will speak about the most memorable
"incidents" of their career which changed
their lives and turned them in to becoming
one of Britain's best loved family double
acts. Have your questions ready as Mr
Noslacking and Mr Getoutofit will be moving
and Barry. Who knows, you may even be asked
on stage to join them!
